Many readers will remember that Mark gave a detailed account in our May 2017 newsletter of directors' rights to invest money withdrawn tax-efficiently from limited companies that they own into flexible pension options - often with attractive additional benefits.

He explained how business owners are often in a much stronger position than they might think if they know how to take advantage of their own businesses.

Mark also outlined how as a director you are entitled to withdraw money with Corporation Tax relief from your own limited company and invest it in a range of modern pensions.

We also set out a tax-efficient pension roadmap for employers, employees, sole traders and partnerships, and the three basic types of pension available to limited company owners.

In addition, Mark explained the advantages of what is now termed 'relevant life cover', plus how Income Protection tailored to individual budgets can provide a regular income if you are unable to work because of accident or sickness.
